Description

Amorphophallus konjac is by far the most well known and one of the easiest plants in this group to grow. I often recommend it to anyone just getting started into collecting Amorphophallus. Over the years new forms of this species have been found. Some are very unique looking. Amorphophallus konjac Nightstick maybe one of the more dramatic and unique forms around. Similar in growth as the regular Amorph konjac it has the unique feature of almost black petioles. This unique look really makes it stand out amongst other Amorphophallus. I have friends who have grown these out and say that the flowers are also different in shape and color. This I believe is true but to try to tell them apart in words maybe very difficult for me. I do believe the flower are unique to this from. Plants will be sold as tubers grown in 4 1/2 inch pots.
