Description
Kalanchoe thyrsiflora Flapjack is a succulent plant in the Crassulaceae family. It grows naturally in South Africa and is hardy to around zone 9. It makes a great container or landscape plant, even in the north were it can be brought in for winter months. The leaves are a blue gray color and can become red to orange if in sun. The leaves are thick and 3 to 5 inches long and a round shaped.
this plant will grow around 2 to 4 feet tall with a white trunk and foliage that is layered down the trunk. Once mature, a flower spike will emerge from the top with white small flowers. Small plants are produced off the flower spike to propagate next years plants.
Plants are sold in 4 1/2 inch pots.
