Commelinaceae

This group of plants is commonly referred to as the wondering jew family. Many in this group are easy to grow usually trailing or crawling types a few species can produce larger sized specimens. Most do well as house plants or as a ground cover in containers on in the garden. Most can spread quickly and are easily propagated. I use many of these as low filler type plants in displays or in containers where they can spill over the edge.
