Description
Amorphophallus atroviridis is a smaller growing Amorphophallus. This plant has nice size white/ pink inflorescence, some have shown to have more pink than others. Some of the inflorescence have a spiral effect to the top portion of the spadix.
The petioles are pink/maroon in color, some have white blotches while others may have non. The foliage is a dark green color with a pink rim around the edge. The foliage is a bit velvety to the touch and can be seen in some of the photos. Amorphophallus atroviridis grows native in lime stone cliffs in Thailand. This species will go dormant in in fall to winter and is sometimes sold as a dormant tuber.
